« I would recommend this school to anyone. I really wasn't sure about going on my own and was only there for a week but now plan to return as often as possible and will book in for 3 months when I retire. It really is great. The school is small but centrally located in Montpellier and my teacher was excellent. I have been a teacher for 30 years so appreciate someone that knows how to get the job done with grace and patience! I wasn't expecting to be made to feel so welcome by the rest of the staff and on top of the lessons there were also some extra, free learning activities in the afternoon. The paid excursions looked good but I wasn't around long enough. The groups were completely multi cultural. I had Chinese, Japanese, Brazilians and various Europeans as well as Americans in my group which was lovely and there was a broad age range. From 18 to 60 plus. I learnt more in a week than I have done in years of tedious weekly classes in the UK. I highly recommend this experience. »

« For two years now, I have been taking classes of teenagers to Montpellier for a week, using the services of Accent Français, and I fully intend to do so again. Not only is the team very friendly and attentive, but the students were delighted with the lessons they received (especially when it came to talking to and interviewing people in the street!) and loved the activities organised – from hiking, to museum visits, to tasting zézettes, nothing to complain about! « I had a wonderful stay at Accent Français language school in Montpellier. For a week, I worked with two teachers, Amandine and Claire, and the experience was very enjoyable and truly useful. I was placed in a group that suited me well, with classmates who had similar interests to mine. This made it easier to communicate in class, but also to socialize and have fun outside of class. I felt very comfortable in this group. The cultural activities on offer were also very interesting. I really enjoyed the guided tour of Montpellier and the trip to Aigues-Mortes, which made the stay even more enriching and memorable. I stayed with an excellent host, Mina, who was a wonderful conversationalist and attentive hostess, but above all a true friend. A school I would recommend without hesitation! »

« My host was very nice and accommodating, providing everything I needed. The language school was very nice, with excellent facilities. The activities were very good, with a good variety; they were very enjoyable overall. There was more direct contact with French and specific teaching helped to develop language, especially vocabulary. I loved walking round the ramparts of Carcassonne on the Saturday excursion and I enjoyed the experience of travelling alone, and learning a language. »

« My home stay was nicely placed in the suburbs, only a short walk and tram to the school; my host was delightful and extremely helpful. The activities and excursions were very fun and a great way to meet people and explore new places. In lessons there was more speaking and more interactive exercises and it was all better designed to get us to speak, which is not as common in the UK. I was always speaking French! »
