French + Work experience

French is a language of international communication and a good level of proficiency in this language makes you a very attractive candidate for future recruiters. Combining language learning with a work experience in a French-speaking environment can effectively enhance your resume.

Structure of the programme:
French language course of your choice among our options of adult courses - minimum 4 weeks
+
Internship in a French company: 4 to 8 weeks, part- or full-time
 

For your French language courses, you will have the choice between:

• Standard Course: 24 lessons per week
• Intensive Course: 30 lessons per week

 

This program is available at all levels from elementary (A2) to advanced (C1). It is based on the key linguistic skills: reading, writing, understanding and with particular care to oral expression and phonetics. Students will learn to express themselves in both formal and casual conversations.

 

Thanks to our online placement test we have developed, our team will ensure that you are placed in a group that corresponds to your level. Each Monday, your teacher will present you with the pedagogical programme of the week, including the skills to be mastered, the grammar points and the vocabulary to be worked on. Assessments will be carried out regularly and you will receive personalised feedback on your progress based on the objectives to be achieved.

 

100% our courses are held face to face, in French, in a small group and by a native and qualified teacher of French ! It is a full immersion that is expecting you here!

 

Your programme also includes:

- pedagogical tutoring every Monday, with a teacher on hand to give you personalised assistance as you learn the French language

- an educational workshop every Friday to practise your French after class and in real-life situations, while discovering a different aspect of French culture each week (theatre workshop, conversation, games, etc.)

 

In addition to the French course, you will do a work placement in a company. While working in a French-speaking environment, you will be exposed to professional vocabulary and your progress will be incredibly rapid. Living and working in a new country allows you to gain self-confidence, to develop skills that will be valuable throughout your career, and that will likely impress your future employers.

Candidate profile:

• Adults 18 to 28 years old
• Fields of activity: Tourism, hotel and catering, NGOs and humanitarian activities, marketing, sales, etc.
• Training in public, private or non-profit organizations.
• Full- or part-time internships depending on the availability of our partner companies.
• Interns will have to work on predefined missions and/or to help employees in their activities.
• Internship is supervised by a tutor responsible for the student's internship and defines the intern's duties.
• Internships are unpaid but companies may choose to contribute to the student's daily expenses.
• Internship contract: Accent Français, the host company and the trainee will sign a tripartite agreement. Throughout the duration of this contract, the intern will keep his or her student status (student of Accent Français) knowing that the internship is part of his or her French language program.
