French language courses 50+ and Seniors

At Accent Français, we welcome students aged 50 and over all year round. However, May and October are particularly popular with this age group, which is why we offer special sessions during these months with activities carefully tailored to their interests.

Our 50+ Adult Program

• Tailor-made learning: Join our Standard French course (24 lessons per week) and learn French in small groups (maximum 12 students) with participants of various ages and nationalities. The lessons are adapted to your level thanks to a placement test conducted before your arrival.
• A unique cultural immersion: Discover French culture through guided tours, tastings, excursions, and friendly evenings with other participants in the 50+ program.
• A friendly and international atmosphere: Enjoy enriching encounters with people from all over the world in a warm and welcoming environment.

2025 Session Dates

• Duration: 1 or 2 weeks
• Minimum level required: False beginner (A1)
• Absolute beginners: Special arrival date on October 13, 2025
• May 2025: Possible arrival dates on May 19 and May 26
• Autumn 2025: Every Monday from September 15 to October 24
• Minimum number of participants required to confirm the session: 4 people

Sample Cultural and Sightseeing Activities

Week 1:
• Guided tour of Montpellier and welcome drink
• Friendly dinner in a Breton crêperie
• Visit to the Fabre Museum
• Wine and cheese tasting
• Half-day excursion

Week 2:
• Guided tour of the Antigone district and welcome drink
• Evening in a tapas and wine bar
• Visit to the Château de Flaugergues and its wine cellars
• Pastry tasting
• Friendly dinner in a French brasserie

Optional if you stay for 2 weeks: Full-day weekend excursion to discover a regional city (Avignon, Carcassonne, Marseille, Aix-en-Provence, Arles and Les Baux-de-Provence, etc.), for an additional cost of approximately €65.
