Monday 31 July

12.30pm-2.00pm: Tutoring
Would you like to work independently or do your homework with the help of a French teacher? Then this tutorial is for you! In a dedicated room, our resource centre, you can read or work in peace and quiet. A tutor will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

1:30pm-3.00pm: JUNIORS - Guided tour of Montpellier's historic centre
Relive the prodigious rise and exceptional destiny that Montpellier has forged for itself over the centuries. Take a thousand-year journey through the narrow streets of the historic centre to experience the very special atmosphere of the Ecusson.

3.30pm-5.00pm: ADULTS - Guided tour of Montpellier's historic centre

Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.

Tuesday 1 August

1.30pm-6.30pm : JUNIORS - Outing to Palavas-les-Flots
Come and discover this pretty seaside resort on the Mediterranean. Don't forget to bring water, sun cream and sunglasses, it's going to be hot! Free time on the beach possible (swimming not supervised).

6.00pm-9.00pm: Cooking class with Les Ateliers d'Arthur
Come and discover traditional French home cooking with Sandrine and her team. At each class, participants will prepare a starter, main course and dessert using fresh seasonal produce, which they will enjoy together afterwards with a glass of wine.

8.00am-12.00pm : Excursion at the Clamouse Cave
Visit the famous Clamouse cave, one of the most beautiful in the world. It's a veritable Ali Baba's cave, with the widest variety of crystals (aragonite and calcite) in France, a sumptuous illumination of this fragile environment, and an original and enchanting show (jumper and shoes recommended). The visit lasts 1h30. Free time at the Pont du Diable, the oldest Romanesque bridge in France (1,000 years old) and a World Heritage site and pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

10.45am-12.15pm: Guided visit of the art exhibition Pavillon Populaire
The Pavillon Populaire in Montpellier is presenting the first major exhibition in France of the work of Catalan photographer Antoni Campañà i Bandranas (Arbúcies, 1906 - Sant Cugat del Vallès, 1989), devoted to the Spanish Civil War. Hidden and unpublished for eighty years - until the discovery five years ago of his famous "red box", containing five thousand photographs taken during the three years of the Spanish Civil War - his work unfolds the complexity of the conflict and the intersecting tensions that erupted in the summer of 1936 and eventually dragged Europe into the Second World War.

8.00am-12.00pm : Excursion to Sète
Visit the peninsula nicknamed the "Little Venice of Languedoc" and its many canals. From the summit of Mont Saint Clair, enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the town, the sea, the mountains and the oyster and mussel beds of the Etang de Thau. Visit the church of Notre Dame de la Salette and its surprising frescoes. Walk along the Canal du Midi and the largest fishing port in the French Mediterranean. Panoramic views of the fishing boats, trawlers and tuna boats. Town of many artists, including the famous singer Georges Brassens and the poet Paul Valéry. Free time.

Visit the oldest French port in the Mediterranean (departure point of the last two crusades in the Middle Ages), a fortified medieval town built in the 13th century, surrounded by intact ramparts almost 2 km long, view of the ramparts and the Constance Tower (former 13th-century lighthouse, then former Protestant prison and its famous prisoner Marie Durand), panoramic view of the town, the ponds of the Camargue, the salt mountains of the "salins du midi", the pink flamingos, the pink salt pans. Free time in the town. Tasting of fougasse (orange blossom brioche), the sweet speciality of Aigues-Mortes. Panoramic view of a pretty beach along the Languedoc coastline.

Saturday 5 August

Morning suggestion: Go to the market ! Marché des Arceaux, organic and local products

8:30am - 6:00pm : Excursion to Uzès and Avignon
Our first stop is Uzès, where we'll visit St Etienne's Cathedral and its Romanesque Italian-style tower. Then we'll explore the historic centre and its Place aux Herbes. Finally, we'll pass by the Duke's castle and the house of the famous writer Racine. There's free time to eat in the town (very nice market on Saturday mornings). In the afternoon we visit Avignon, passing the famous 12th-century Pont St Benezet, the source of a famous traditional song. Then we'll cross the ramparts to enter the historic centre, where we'll discover its medieval streets and the Romanesque cathedral of Notre Dame des Doms. Free time in the city.

Sunday 6 August

8:30am - 6:00pm : Excursion to Marseille
The 1st port and capital of the French Mediterranean, Marseille is a magnificent city between the Camargue, the Alps and the Côte d'Azur. We'll climb up to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde, a 19th-century Neo-Byzantine church and pilgrimage site for the people of Marseille, nicknamed the Good Mother. It offers exceptional views over the city and the Château d'If, home of the famous Count of Monte Cristo. We'll then take a walk along the Old Port to discover the Roman Dock Museum and the narrow streets of the Panier district. We'll finish our tour of the district with a visit to the Old Charity. We'll then visit Notre Dame de la Major cathedral, which boasts one of the highest domes in the world. Combining Roman and Oriental styles, it is a real treasure trove, with Byzantine arcades, white marble and magnificent mosaics inside. Finally, we'll end our day at Fort St Jean and its towers, which guard the entrance to the city's port. The view over the port is magnificent.
