Monday 28 August

12.30pm-2.00pm: Tutoring
Would you like to work independently or do your homework with the help of a French teacher? Then this tutorial is for you! In a dedicated room, our resource centre, you can read or work in peace and quiet. A tutor will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

2:30pm-4.00pm: Guided tour of Montpellier's historic centre
Relive the prodigious rise and exceptional destiny that Montpellier has forged for itself over the centuries. Take a thousand-year journey through the narrow streets of the historic centre to experience the very special atmosphere of the Ecusson.

6pm-7.30pm: Yoga class
Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.
Price: 70€ for a card of 6 classes

Tuesday 29 August

7pm-8.30pm: Yoga class

Wednesday 30 August

1.30pm-6.30pm: Hiking in the Devil's Canyon - Swimming in the Salagou lake
A walk in our local Colorado. An enchanting region of canyons and hills of dry red earth known as "les ruffes". For some, this place is reminiscent of certain remote regions of the world, for others of the moon. Free time (1 hour) at Lac du Salagou, the most beautiful lake in our region, a volcanic lake with red sand, 6 km long. Take sports shoes, bottle of water, towel and swimming costume.

7.30pm-24pm: Language exchange with Bla Bla Language Exchange

Thursday 31 August

1.45pm-6.00pm: Excursion to Aigues-Mortes
Visit the oldest French port in the Mediterranean (departure of the last two crusades in the Middle Ages), a fortified medieval town built in the 13th century, surrounded by intact ramparts almost 2 km long, view of the ramparts and the Constance Tower (former 13th-century lighthouse, then former Protestant prison and its famous prisoner Marie Durand), panoramic view of the town, the Camargue lakes, the salt mountains of the Midi salt marshes, the pink flamingos, the pink salt marshes. Free time in the town. Tasting of fougasse (orange blossom brioche), the sweet speciality of Aigues-Mortes. Panoramic view of a pretty beach along the Languedoc coastline.

1.45pm-6.00pm: Horse riding in the Camargue - beach
Horse riding (approx. 1 hour) for beginners, in a protected Camargue reserve, supervised by professionals, you will ride a Camargue horse. This ride will take place in a pine forest (maritime pines), beside a pond, just a few kilometres from Aigues-Mortes or Les Saintes Maries de la mer. You'll discover the typical flora and fauna of the Petite Camargue at a walk, trot or gallop (for the more daring). Free time of 1 hour on the beach in high season.

6pm-1am : Blind Test Evening
The Social Bar is THE new place to go out in Montpellier! Located at the foot of the Tour de la Babote, the bar is run by Montpellier residents and offers daily entertainment, a co-working space, a petanque area, a bar and a dance floor!

Friday 1 September

1.45pm - 6:00pm : Excursion to Sète
Visit the peninsula nicknamed the "Little Venice of Languedoc" and its many canals. From the summit of Mont Saint Clair, enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the town, the sea, the mountains and the oyster and mussel beds of the Etang de Thau. Visit the church of Notre Dame de la Salette and its surprising frescoes. Walk along the Canal du Midi and the largest fishing port in the French Mediterranean. Panoramic views of the fishing boats, trawlers and tuna boats. Town of many artists, including the famous singer Georges Brassens and the poet Paul Valéry. Free time. Muscat wine tasting in a wine cellar.

Saturday 2 September

Morning suggestion: Go to the market ! Marché des Arceaux, organic and local products

9:00am - 6:00pm : Excursion to Arles and Baux de Provence
First of all, we'll take the opportunity to discover the Roman monuments listed as World Heritage Sites by Unesco: the amphitheatre and its 25,000 seats, famous today for its gladiatorial and bullfighting games. (Indoor entrance not included in the price) Then we'll continue on to the ancient Roman theatre, Constantine's baths and the underground galleries of the former imperial palace. We'll then discover religious monuments such as the cathedral and its Romanesque-Gothic cloister. Finally, we'll visit the famous garden of the former hospital and night café, painted by the Dutch expressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh. The rest of the day will be spent discovering the charming village of Les Baux de Provence, with its well-deserved nickname of "Balcony of Provence". This village, surrounded by cliffs, has a magnificent view over Provence. Its castle, Romanesque church, medieval streets and Santon museum will transport you back in time to Provence.

Sunday 3 September

Suggestion: Visit the Musée Fabre, free entry on the 1st Sunday of the month!

8:30am - 6:00pm : Excursion to Marseille
The 1st port and capital of the French Mediterranean, Marseille is a magnificent city between the Camargue, the Alps and the Côte d'Azur. We'll climb up to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde, a 19th-century Neo-Byzantine church and pilgrimage site for the people of Marseille, nicknamed the Good Mother. It offers exceptional views over the city and the Château d'If, home of the famous Count of Monte Cristo. We'll then take a walk along the Old Port to discover the Roman Dock Museum and the narrow streets of the Panier district. We'll finish our tour of the district with a visit to the Old Charity. We'll then visit Notre Dame de la Major cathedral, which boasts one of the highest domes in the world. Combining Roman and Oriental styles, it is a real treasure trove, with Byzantine arcades, white marble and magnificent mosaics inside. Finally, we'll end our day at Fort St Jean and its towers, which guard the entrance to the city's port. The view over the port is magnificent.
