Come and live a complete experience with us thanks to our French courses, our accommodation and our weekly cultural programme! Every week we offer a great programme: between city tours, yoga (ashtanga) classes and excursions, our students never see the time pass! And in French, of course!

Monday 14 August

12.30pm-2.00pm: Tutoring
Would you like to work independently or do your homework with the help of a French teacher? Then this tutorial is for you! In a dedicated room, our resource centre, you can read or work in peace and quiet. A tutor will be on hand to answer any questions you may have.

1:30pm-3.00pm: Guided tour of Montpellier's historic centre
Relive the prodigious rise and exceptional destiny that Montpellier has forged for itself over the centuries. Take a thousand-year journey through the narrow streets of the historic centre to experience the very special atmosphere of the Ecusson.

3.30pm-5.00pm: Drawing workshop with Seyf
It's not always easy to know where to start and to find a subject to draw. Find out how to improve your drawing skills with Seyf.

6pm-7.30pm: Yoga class
Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.

Tuesday 15 August - BANK HOLIDAY

The school will be closed on this day and there will be no classes. In compensation, we are offering a free excursion in the region to all our students. It's the perfect way to practise your French and discover the local culture and history!

1:45pm-6:00pm: Excursion to Saint Guilhem le Désert
Just 1 hour's drive from Montpellier, set off to discover St Guilhem-le-Désert, a typical Languedoc village and stop-off point on the pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela (listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO). The village is listed as one of the "most beautiful villages in France", with just 300 inhabitants but over 1 million tourists every year. You'll discover its prestigious religious past, with its thousand-year-old Romanesque church housing the relics of St Guilhem, Charlemagne's first cousin, and a piece of the true cross of Jesus Christ.

Wednesday 16 August

1.30pm-5.00pm: JUNIORS - Bowling
Are you ready for a wild game of bowling? There'll be stiff competition between the students, so may the best man win!

1.45pm-6.30pm: Excursion to Sète and Boat Trip
Visit the peninsula nicknamed the "Little Venice of Languedoc" and its many canals. From the summit of Mont Saint Clair, you can enjoy a magnificent panoramic view of the town, the sea, the mountains and the oyster and mussel beds of the Etang de Thau. Visit the church of Notre Dame de la Salette and its surprising frescoes. Walk along the Canal du Midi and the largest fishing port in the French Mediterranean. Panoramic views of the fishing boats, trawlers and tuna boats. Town of many artists, including the famous singer Georges Brassens and the poet Paul Valéry. Take a 1-hour boat trip through the town's canals and on the Etang de Thau. Take a guided tour of the town, nicknamed the Little Venice of Languedoc.

2.30pm-4.00pm: Guided visit of the art exhibition - Panacée
The monograph devoted to Cuban-born American artist Ana Mendieta (1948-1985) at MO.CO. Panacée brings together some one hundred works spanning more than fifteen years of production (1968-1985). The exhibition explores in particular how the artist never ceased to reinvent herself, developing an original sculptural language, often ephemeral, sometimes performative, inspired by her research into original myths and cave art.

7.00pm-8.30pm: Evening at a local crêperie
Fancy a savoury galette, a sweet crêpe and a bowl of cider? We're off to Brittany tonight!

7.30pm-24pm: Language exchange with Bla Bla Language Exchange
Come and share your passion for languages and meet people from Montpellier to speak French, English, German, Spanish and much more!

1:30pm-3:30pm: JUNIORS - Museum outing
Today, we're going to combine the French language and culture in a fun way! Join us for a great time with young people your own age!

1.45pm-6.00pm: Excursion to Aigues Mortes
Visit the oldest French port in the Mediterranean (departure point of the last two crusades in the Middle Ages), a fortified medieval town built in the 13th century, surrounded by intact ramparts almost 2 km long, view of the ramparts and the Constance Tower (former 13th-century lighthouse, then former Protestant prison and its famous prisoner Marie Durand), panoramic view of the town, the ponds of the Camargue, the salt mountains of the "salins du midi", the pink flamingos, the pink salt pans. Free time in the town. Tasting of fougasse (orange blossom brioche), the sweet speciality of Aigues-Mortes. Panoramic view of a pretty beach along the Languedoc coastline.

Friday 18 August

Would you like to practice your French after class and meet other students from the school? We invite you every week to participate in our pedagogical workshop.

1.30pm - 6:30pm : Excursion to Saintes Maries de la Mer
Discover the Camargue and its special animals: pink flamingos, bulls and horses. Ponds mingle with the land or the other way round, where people grow rice, salt and vines. A seaside town symbolises this region: Les Saintes Maries de la mer and its fortified Romanesque church, a Christian pilgrimage site on the Way of St James. Pilgrims come here to venerate the relics of the St Maries (Marie Jacobée: aunt of Jesus and Marie Salomé: mother of the apostles James and John). The gypsy community gathers here every year to celebrate the relics of their patron saint, Saint Sara. This village is considered to be one of the oldest Christian cults in the West. Free time in the town and on the beach. Swimming is possible, but please bring a swimming costume.

Morning suggestion: Go to the market ! Marché des Arceaux, organic and local products

8:30am - 6:00pm : Excursion to Aix en Provence
The town was a favourite haunt of the local aristocracy, who built numerous Italianate and Parisian-style town houses. It was also the home of the famous Impressionist painter Cézanne. Guided tour of the Cours Mirabeau, the Place de l'Hôtel de Ville, St Sauveur cathedral with its many architectural styles and Romanesque cloister, the Pavillon de Vendôme and the Mazarin district.

Sunday 20 August

9:00am - 6:30pm : Excursion to Carcassonne
Come and discover its 3km of double ramparts, its 52 towers, its château comtal, its ancient Romanesque-Gothic cathedral St and its magnificent stained-glass windows. A UNESCO World Heritage Site and famous setting for many of the films shot in the city, we'll set off to discover its many hidden treasures, a real leap into the past (entrance to the castle and ramparts not included). Enjoy a cassoulet, the city's famous speciality.
