Monday 10 April

1.45pm-6pm: Excursion to Aigues-Mortes offered to all our students in compensation for the group lessons of the public holiday!
Visit of the oldest French port in the Mediterranean (departure of the last two crusades in the Middle Ages), a fortified medieval town built in the 13th century, surrounded by intact ramparts almost 2 km long, view of the ramparts and the Constance tower (former lighthouse from the 13th century, then former Protestant prison and its famous prisoner Marie Durand), panoramic view of the town, the ponds of the Camargue, the salt mountains of the "salins du midi" (southern salt marshes), pink flamingos, pink salt marshes. Free time in the city. Tasting of fougasse (orange blossom brioche), a sweet speciality of Aigues-Mortes. Panoramic view of a pretty beach on the Languedoc coastline.

Tuesday 11 April

6pm-9pm: Cooking class with Les Ateliers d'Arthur
Come and discover traditional French home cooking with Sandrine and her team. In each class, participants will create a menu of starters, main course and dessert with fresh seasonal products, which they will enjoy together afterwards with a glass of wine.

7pm-8.30pm: Yoga class
Ashtanga Yoga is characterised by the sequence of postures (Asana) punctuated by the Ujjayi breath, chest breathing associated with different points of concentration. The postures follow each other quite quickly. This yoga is at first a very complete physical practice, becoming progressively a way of interiority when the practitioner acquires experience.
Price: 70€ for a card of 6 classes

7pm: Salsa classes and introduction to Latin dances
Come and discover salsa and Latin dances, meet people and have fun in one of the emblematic bars of the city centre!

Wednesday 12 April

Exhibition of paintings "Human Nature" by Baptiste Loprieno
The Espace Saint-Ravy is pleased to welcome the artist Baptiste Loprieno, who graduated from the Ecole Supérieure d'Art et de Design de Grenoble in 2015. His work questions our relationship with Nature through sculpture but also photography and painting. He reveals our way of interacting with the living around us, oscillating between preservation and destruction.
Price: Free, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 1pm to 7pm

1.30pm-6.30pm : Excursion - Hike to the Pic Saint Loup and wine tasting
Discover the favourite mountain of the Montpellier inhabitants, easy and magnificent, you will be surrounded by a beautiful Mediterranean vegetation and will reach the summit to discover undoubtedly the most panoramic view of the region. Pic St Loup wine tasting in a local wine cellar. Water bottle and sports shoes required. Hike 2-3h approximately. Medium level.

Thursday 13 April

1.45pm-6.30pm : Excursion to the Clamouse’s Cave
Visit to the famous Clamouse cave, classified as one of the most beautiful. It is a real Ali Baba's cave with the greatest diversity of crystals (aragonite and calcite) in France, a sumptuous illumination of this fragile environment, an original and magical show (pullover and shoes recommended). The visit lasts 1h30. Free time at the Pont du Diable, the oldest Romanesque bridge in France (1000 years old), a World Heritage site and a pilgrimage route to Santiago de Compostela.

The Social Bar is THE new place to go out in Montpellier! Located at the foot of the Tour de la Babote, the bar is run by Montpellier residents and offers daily entertainment, a co-working space, a petanque area, a bar and a dance floor!

Visit of the Gardens of the Fountain, ancient Roman necropolis built around the Nemausus spring, visit of the temple of Diana. Passing in front of the former great Roman temple: the Maison Carré and outside visit of the arena, former Roman amphitheatre, known for its gladiator and bull shows (inside visit included). Visit to the Romanesque cathedral of St Castor. Free time in the city. Biscuits from the region offered

Morning suggestion: Go to the market ! Marché des Arceaux, organic and local products

9.00am-6.30pm: Excursion to Carcassonne
Come and discover its 3 km of double ramparts, its 52 towers, its castle, its ancient Romanesque-Gothic cathedral and its magnificent stained glass windows. Unesco heritage site, famous set for many films shot in the city, we will discover its many hidden treasures, a real leap into the past (entrance to the castle and ramparts not included). Enjoy a cassoulet, the city's famous speciality.

Sunday 16 April

8:30m - 6.00pm : Excursion to Marseille
The first port and capital of the French Mediterranean, Marseille is a magnificent city between the Camargue, the Alps and the French Riviera. We will go up to visit the Basilica of Notre Dame de la Garde, a 19th century neo-Byzantine church, a pilgrimage of the Marseillais nicknamed the Good Mother. The view of the city and the castle of If, the famous Count of Monte Cristo, is exceptional. Then we will walk along the Old Port to discover the Roman Dock Museum and the narrow streets of the Panier district. We will finish the visit of the district by the Old Charity. We will then visit the Notre Dame de la Major Cathedral which has one of the highest domes in the world. Combining Roman and Oriental styles, it is a real treasure with Byzantine arches, white marble and beautiful mosaics inside. Finally we will end our day at Fort St John and its towers which guard the entrance to the city's port. The view of the port is magnificent.
