This time, I chose Accent Français in Montpellier, a school known for its friendly and family atmosphere. The classes are held in small groups and focus on conversation, which was a little difficult for me because I'm not very comfortable speaking. But I really felt how important it is to speak without being afraid of making mistakes. As there were no other Japanese students, the common language with the other students was always French — sometimes with a few words of English slipped into the conversation, which made the exchanges fun. The activities on offer were also very appealing. In an unfamiliar city, there are always places you'd like to go but hesitate to visit alone; being able to go there accompanied by a member of the team is very reassuring. It was only a week, but my stay in Montpellier was so enjoyable that I wanted more! »
