« My host was so, so sweet and friendly! She was a very experienced host who I believe had hosted over 40 students from all over the world. She was retired so always was around during the day. She also made excellent food which was a bonus! I really liked the language school. I had a great teacher called David who taught me for both the two weeks. He was very funny and animated and never made a lesson dull. The school was situated right in the centre of Montpellier so it was really convenient after class to go grab some lunch from a nearby restaurant. The activities were so fun: I went on three excursions which were all very different in their own ways. It was on the first excursion where I met one of my closest friends during my visit, so I would recommend going on excursions to meet new people. When with my host family we would only speak in French, which made a huge difference. Because I was almost forced to speak in French it automatically improved. I loved going in a waterfall for the first time, I loved the fact that I got to visit the beach, the mountains and the city in the same week and of course trying as many different flavours of ice cream possible! I honestly just know I will definitely want to do an experience like this again! It has also really motivated me to improve my French and hopefully one day in the near future I will speak it fluently. »

« Je suis venue à Accent Français pendant 2 semaines et c’était mon deuxième séjour dans cette école. J’ai vraiment apprécié cette expérience et j’ai considérablement amélioré mon Français. J’ai résisté à la tentation d’inviter une copine à venir avec moi pour apprendre encore plus vite: je ne me suis jamais senti seule et je ne me suis jamais ennuyée. J’ai 63 ans et bien que beaucoup d’étudiants étaient plus jeunes que moi cela n’a jamais été un problème – l’intérêt commun était l’apprentissage de la langue dans une ambiance conviviale. C’est extraordinaire de voir les différentes nationalités et âges des personnes à l’école. Lors de mon second séjour je suis restée en chez une hôte Française qui était absolument géniale et m’a encouragé patiemment lors de nos conversations françaises. J’étais également surprise par le nombre de choses à voir et faire à Montpellier et aux alentours (même pour une deuxième visite) »

« J’ai bien aimé mon temps à Accent Français, c’était très bien organisé dès le début. J’ai bien aimé la classe d'accueil et le sens d’avoir confiance de l’école pour m’aider chercher mon chemin à Montpellier. Dans son ensemble les professeurs étaient géniaux, les cours étaient bien organisés et le fait que je pouvais voir ce que j’allais faire avec la feuille des sujets de la semaine, ça me permettait de comprendre mon progrès pendant le niveau de B2. J'ai trouvé ma prof formidable, avec les qualités essentielles qu’une bonne prof devrait avoir. Elle était patiente, drôle, bien organisée et avait assez enthousiasme de maintenir la classe concentrée pourtant détendu au même temps. Elle donnait à moi et le reste de la classe envie d’étudier, bien que la grammaire fut difficile, ainsi que la compréhension assez fatigant, Emmanuel maintenait la classe toujours dans le calme et le point culminant de Accent Français était de l’avoir eu comme Prof. Je vous remercie pour cette école superbe, c’était un bon début de ma nouvelle vie à Montpellier et je serais content de vous recommander. »

« I visited AF as an absolute beginner. The school is located in the middle of Montpellier, so I got used to the sound of French language very fast. The teachers spoke French from the first day on, but it was possible to ask for additional explanation anytime. The teachers at AF are very patient and qualified with regard to language knowledge as well as modern training skills, absolutely perfect! AF has a lot of students, that’s why they can offer a lot of different levels. AF helps you to find a class that fits best to your personal level. This makes it also very easy to come into contact with other people / students. The city Montpellier and the surrounding countryside offer a lot of activities (culture & nightlife in the city, beach in the south, mountains and rivers in the north). It is completely up to you, how much time you want to invest in learning French (half day / full day) or doing some activities outside. I visited AF for fun and for vacation, so it’s my own fault, why I still have to write this comment in English. But I am sure, if you want to learn French fluently within a short time period, AF is probably one of the best addresses in the southern France. Merci pour le grand temps et à bientôt. »

« In March 2016 while in Montpellier I visited five language schools, I finally decided on Accent François because of your representative Maria Gonzalez who was so professional and accommodating. She went through all your literature, costs and what I should expect and then took the time to walk me around all buildings and classrooms and introduced me to a few students.
