« As mature students in our mid 60s with variable levels of French, we chose Accent Francais in Montpellier since it offered 50+ activities for the first two weeks of our four week stay in October and early November, and the prospect of having a higher proportion of mature students in our classes. Over the course of the four weeks we received consistently high quality French teaching with engaging topics and relevant audio visual teaching materials, and energetic quality teachers. I was in the C1 class and my wife was in A2. My teacher was excellent. The mixture of young and older students was fine for us, and I think also for the young. The location was good with a third of the classes held very close to the main square and the main campus a few minutes further away. The facilities were fine. For us the class sizes were OK but the classrooms themselves were cramped at the maximum 12 students. The activities for students in general and for the 50+ were good. We enjoyed getting to know other mature students during the excursions and they were mostly well organised. The timing suffered a little through the unavoidable presence of some very slow walkers in the 50+ group. The mixture of activities in and outside Montpellier was fine. We stayed in an AirB&B in the centre of the old city, and thus did not need a car or public transport. It is a lively place with all the students, and we made use of the cinema and large municipal pool. To be recommended. We loved Montpellier and Accent Francais for welcoming us to France: warm and quiet enough in autumn to appreciate for longer the learning and cultural experiences on offer for older students of varying levels. The education is of a high standard. Note the school can get a bit crowded at times for some. We recommend it! »

« Six weeks ago, I landed in France 🇫🇷 and was nervous to order a baguette at the local cafe. Fast forward to today… after 120 hours of classes, and hundreds of boulangerie & supermarché interactions, I now feel confident speaking with my French family & friends for hours on end. When I arrived in Montpellier, my goal was simple - improve my comprehension and speaking fluency. Today, I feel so much stronger in both 💪. Sure, I still make mistakes, but I can hold my own - and even crack a few jokes. Thank you to the team at 📚 Accent Francais French Language School ✏️ , especially my professors Olivier and Juliette; you broke down the language in a way that was digestible yet challenging, and made learning a blast. Merci beaucoup! And to all the wonderful friends I made in France 🇫🇷 - from Germany 🇩🇪 , Switzerland🇨🇭, Columbia 🇨🇴 , Iceland 🇮🇸 , Italy 🇮🇹 , India 🇮🇳 , Slovenia 🇸🇮 , Estonia 🇪🇪 , Kazakhstan 🇰🇿 , Alaska 🇺🇸 and of course France 🇫🇷 … You all made my experience unforgettable. Excited to keep in touch! Now that I am back in LA, I am ready to keep learning! I’m looking for 🇫🇷 French-speaking communities - 🤝 clubs, organizations, or meet-ups 🤝 - where I can continue to work on my conversation skills. If you know of any, I’d love to hear about them! 🇫🇷 J'ai hâte de continuer à apprendre le français ici à Los Angeles! 🇫🇷 »

« My training was wonderful! The school gave me a lot of information in just one week. I was in group B2, and the teacher wrote the program for the week, which was logical and progressive. There was a lot of practical information that I could use after class. Living with a host family was a great experience for practicing the language and understanding the country's culture. I am very happy to have participated in the Accent Français training program. »

« I took a three-week French immersion course, including two weeks of intensive study. It was a fantastic experience. The teaching was excellent. As a former teacher myself, I really admired their teaching methods and the way they structured their classes to welcome new students every Monday in a smooth and seamless way. The teaching team was also lovely (a big thank you to Nélia and Steffy!). The extra activities, such as city tours and picnics, were also fun and enriching. I plan to return as soon as possible. Montpellier is a wonderful city. »

« An exciting experience where students take charge of their own learning. The engaging teaching methods, the development of oral and written skills in each lesson, the professionalism and availability of the teacher, and the variety of materials used made the program captivating and stimulating. »

« Accent Français is a very well-organized French language school, whether you are there for a week or ten, and whether you are 17 or 70 years old. The administrative staff was very professional and friendly, and communication was quick and clear. The teachers I had were excellent—welcoming, supportive, and provided a variety of interesting learning activities. In addition to French language classes, the school offers (for an additional fee) social/cultural activities every afternoon and on weekends, ranging from guided city tours to museums, pastry shops, and excursions to the surrounding area. Last but not least, the school can arrange a variety of accommodation options, and for me, staying with a local family was the icing on the cake. Bravo Accent Français. Highly recommended. »

« I just finished two weeks at Accent Français... traveling to France has been a lifelong dream, and this experience exceeded my expectations! The classes were great... pushing my limits and skills in a good way. My teacher was serious, kind, and fun at the same time! I signed up for the 50+ Group, which offered fun extracurricular activities. Béatrice is the leader of this group, and she took us to museums, wine and pastry tastings, and dinner. I was surprised, however, that I really enjoyed the 20-somethings in my class. Hearing their perspectives on education and life in their countries was fascinating. In the end, I stayed with a lovely woman, just a few steps away from the school. I couldn't have found a better match! My eyes and heart were opened and deepened by this experience! »
