Registration

To enroll, please fill the registration form online or send it by postal mail, fax or e-mail with a deposit of:
  100% of the total fees for up to 4 weeks stay
  50% of the total fees for more than 4 weeks stay
  Academic year: send 50% of the course fees + registration + 1 month accommodation.

The registration becomes valid as soon as we receive your down payment. Accent Français will send to you by postal mail, email or fax a confirmation of enrolment with:
  Details of the payment received and the amount due on arrival if that is the case
  Details of your accommodation
  Certificate to apply for a student visa at the French Embassy if necessary.

Payment (in Euros)

Do not forget to mention the name of the person attending the course as well as the course’s dates.
Deposit may be paid in Euros by:
  Credit card (Visa or Eurocard Master Card), please let us know by email, fax or telephone your Card number and expiration date.

The remaining amount (if any) must be paid in full on the first day at school: we accept bank checks in Euros, credit cards (Visa, Eurocard or Master Card) and cash.

Payment of the remaining amount must be made in full prior to starting the course. ( 2 weeks before the student's first day accommodation and at the latest on the first day at school for course's fees and costs involved in sending any official documentation )

Cancellation

According to the European directive 97/7CE, you can use your right to retract during 7 days after sending your application form.
After this date, if you cancel your course, we need to be informed in writing by registered or e- mail. No notice of cancellation is effective until we have received the letter. The following conditions apply

Cancellation fees:

• 30% of owed fees if you cancel more than 30 days before the course start
• 50% of owed fees if you cancel between 8 and 30 days before the course start
• 75% of owed fees if you cancel between 4 and 7 days before the course start
• 100% of owed fees if you cancel the last Friday before the course start or after
• Once the course has started, it is due in full and no refund can be claimed.

Any refund given will exclude the registration fee and bank charges will be deducted from the refund total.
Please note that, in the case where a student has booked through an educational agency and is granted a refund, then the refund will be made to the agency and the student should seek a refund from that agency. In cases where students have booked direct, then the refund will be made directly to them.

Course interruption

In the case of early departures, all courses that have already been started must still be paid in full except in extreme circumstances or emergencies*. No refund can be made to students once the course has commenced and no transfer of courses in whole or in part can be made. We are understanding of early departures in serious cases such as sickness, the death of a family member or an accident that has resulted in a serious injury etc. In these cases we will do our best to postpone your remaining course time, however we do require a medical certificate or another form of legal supporting document as proof that your situation is indeed genuine.
Accent Français does not permit the transfer of credit from one student to another.

* Professional and /or work obligations are not considered as extreme circumstances or emergencies

Liability and Insurance

Students should make sure that they organise their own travel insurance to cover medical costs and repatriation costs in the case of an illness or accident.
If you are a non-European citizen, please contact your insurance office to guarantee your health coverage while staying in France.
The School acts only as an intermediary between its students and travel organisations and between students and host families or other accommodation. Unless and to the extent caused by the School's negligence, the School cannot be held responsible for any delay or accident during a journey nor for any incident which may happen during the student's stay with the host family or at any other accommodation. Accent Français and your hosts are not at all responsible in the event of loss of personal objects or damage occurred during your stay. The School will, however, endeavour to defend the student's interests in the event of breach of contract on the part of the travel organisation or the hostfamily.

The School reserves the right not to allow on the course a student suffering from any illness, medical condition, or mental or physical disability which has not been disclosed on the Registration Form.

Behaviour

Should a student show an abnormal behaviour or bad intentions, Accent Français reserves the right to exclude them from school at any time and with no refund.

Holidays

School will be closed on 1/05, 17/05, 15/08, 1/11. No class will be held on those days, we offer a full-day excursion to the students to replace the course. Annual closing for Christmas from 17/12/12 to 7/01/2013.
